News Corporation called the report 'unjustified and highly partisan'.

The finance-sector lawmaker, who is also the chairman and chief executive of the Bank of East Asia, faces prosecution for not removing an illegal structure at a property he owns on The Peak. The 12-year-old Dutch schoolboy was released on Thursday after his parents apparently paid a ransom to kidnappers, who abducted him as he walked to the Mount Kiara International School in an upmarket suburb near Kuala Lumpur six days previously.
