The Caspar Fownes-trained debutant Undoubtedly Mine did a nice job to win on his racecourse debut up at the straight course after having to be handled gently in the lead-up. Tracking the speed near the outside rail, Undoubtedly Mine (Tim Clark) was just too strong winning by a neck and has a future if Fownes can manage his internal problems. 'After his first trial in November, I had him scoped and he had blood inside and I had to back off, which is why he didn't trial again until April,' he said. 'But he has shown his share of ability. Today's race wasn't the strongest you could find but it's never easy to win on debut. He's got a handy enough career ahead, but we just have to watch him with the internal bleeding.'
