John Moore has scrapped plans for Xtension to run in the Singapore Airlines International Cup on May 20 at Kranji, with stablemate Zaidan to replace the back-to-back BMW Champions Mile winner in the field.

Zaidan will depart on Saturday, along with California Memory and Thumbs Up, for the S$3Million Group One, with Hong Kong to also be represented through jockey Andreas Suborics, who will ride Zazou.

Moore was absent from Happy Valley last night, but his son George said that Xtension hadn't come through Sunday's win as well as hoped. 'He is a little bit light and this race has just come around too soon for him,' he said. 'He has only been on soft feed for the last few days and you expect some weight loss, but we've decided against a trip and there are still more options with him.'

Zaidan was a credible fourth in the Audemars Piguet QEII two Sunday's ago, but his regular rider Olivier Doleuze will be replaced by James McDonald, who had been booked to ride Xtension in Singapore.
