Maddox's practice focuses on international equity and debt transactions in Asia. He has been in Hong Kong since 1994. Maddox has represented issuers, underwriters, and investors on a broad range of offerings, public and private, and equity and debt including initial public offerings. His extensive experience also includes high-yield debt offerings, Rule 144A debt and preferred stock private placements, Regulation S offerings, debt restructurings, and issuer tender offers.
Jane Leung, head of iShares Asia-Pacific, BlackRock
Leung will be responsible for driving the regional growth strategy and business operations of iShares. She will become a member of BlackRock's executive committee in Asia-Pacific and the Global iShares executive committee. Leung will report to Mark McCombe, BlackRock's chairman, Asia-Pacific, and Mark Wiedman, global head of iShares. '[Leung's] appointment reflects the importance we place on delivering the products and expertise our clients need,' says McCombe. Leung has more than 10 years' experience with BlackRock. She currently serves as the head of BlackRock's Asia-Pacific index equity team, which has responsibility for the team's portfolio management activities. Prior to taking over her current role, Leung was the senior director of product for iShares Asia ex-Japan.
David Neuville, partner, Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP
Based in Hong Kong since 1994, Neuville represents Asian issuers and underwriters. He focuses his practice on offerings of equity and debt securities for companies throughout North and Southeast Asia, with a particular emphasis on India and China, and additional experience in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Singapore. His practice experience also includes acting in numerous M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions.
