Jocelyn Ho and Mike Chan have some of the most romantic jobs possible, and the best part is they do it together.
Mike, a wedding photographer, and Jocelyn, his new wife, make-up artist and stylist, capture memorable moments for couples for a living. This week, it was their turn in front of the camera. 
Mike and Jocelyn tied the knot on Sunday on the Thai resort island of Phuket, celebrating with about 25 guests. 
They took their own wedding photographs with the help of a friend, Penter Yip. 
The couple studied at the University of Science and Technology and lived in the same residence hall. 
'I knew Jocelyn because she was very pretty and it was kind of an open secret in our residence hall that a lot of guys liked her,' Mike said, laughing. 'But for three years, I didn't dare talk to her.' Jocelyn was in a relationship at the time. 
They were finally introduced in 2008 at a university reunion at Hong Kong Disneyland, and the 'magic kingdom' lived up to its nickname for the pair.
'I hadn't seen her for two years before that and obviously I still liked her,' Mike recalled. So they swapped Facebook details and started chatting. 
What really brought them closer together was Jocelyn's broken iPhone. She turned to Mike for help because of his background in engineering. They realised there was a strong chemistry between them and within a few weeks they were dating. 
At the time, Mike was working as a graphic designer, while Jocelyn was a public relations executive. They were both busy at work and barely had time to meet during the week. 
In December 2010, Mike was offered the job of taking wedding photos for some friends. Through word of mouth, his work caught the attention of other potential clients, and it grew to a point where he realised he could make a career out of it. When he did go professional, he had to search for a make-up artist to travel with him on overseas wedding shoots, and Jocelyn appeared to be a perfect fit. 
'She had already been studying bridal make-up to prepare for her own big day, so we thought why not do it together,' Mike recalled. 
Just as business was picking up, Jocelyn was diagnosed with a rare form of diabetes. But even when the situation became difficult, Mike remained by her side. Her journey to recovery brought the pair even closer together. In November last year, Mike proposed to Jocelyn while they were on a photo shoot in Seoul. He chose the South Korean capital because it was where they went on their first trip together. On the third anniversary of their first date, he got down on one knee and asked Jocelyn to be his wife. Surprised, she said yes. 
'I liked her the first time I saw her at university,' Mike said. 'I thought she was pretty, but when I got to know her we really clicked. We were both looking for a life partner.' 
Jocelyn said Mike had made her a better person. 
'Mike gave me a lot of confidence and a sense of security. However hard things are, he'll face them with me,' she said. 'When I was sick, even my parents didn't know what to do and were so frustrated. He was the calmest one, and that really comforted me and my family. 
'He handles me really well and we share the same goals in life. What more could I ask for in my Mr Right?' 
The newlyweds headed to the Maldives for their honeymoon, after which they will return to focusing on other people's happy moments.
