We love the crisp lines of Celine's ready-to-wear range. Leading the way is the optic-white, fine-cotton taffeta top (HK$7,200), with the off-white, creased Jeff straight trousers (HK$9,500) and the cotton belted basque (all far right; HK$9,500) - just steer clear of the red wine. Then there is one of the most featured looks of the season: the poppy bi-colour, crew-neck jumper (HK$16,000), the sheer-optic white pleated voile skirt (HK$17,500) and cotton satin belt (all right; HK$3,900). Celine is in The Landmark, Central, tel: 2525 1281.
Australian label Seed has hit home with its casual elegance, in its ready-to-wear as well as accessories collections. The everyday simplicity of these flat, bejewelled T-bar sandals (below; HK$910 a pair, available in nude or black) are perfect for stomping around the streets of Hong Kong in the humid, hot summer. Seed is at 41 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2577 0721.
Avant-garde eyewear designer Linda Farrow has a wild range of shades to get pulses racing this spring-summer. We like the tangerine glasses with turquoise snakeskin-effect arms (left; HK$5,300) and the subtle sophistication of the retro-style, half frame-effect clear glasses (above; HK$3,900). Linda Farrow is at Lane Crawford, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2188 3388.
Rise and shine
The shimmer of water was the inspiration for Giorgio Armani's collection this season. In accessories, this theme has been translated into beautiful evening bags, such as the chain clutch with layered fringing (left; HK$19,000) for glamorous nights out. We love the light snakeskin tote (above left; HK$27,000) and the mother-of-pearl bangle (above right; HK$16,000) for everyday wear. Giorgio Armani is in Chater House, Central, tel: 2532 7777.
