Danny Shum Chap-shing's stable star Little Bridge jetted out for his Royal Ascot assignment overnight, and the trainer was in a buoyant mood after a win to Scarlet Camellia. Shum says hoof and mucous issues, plus terrible luck in running in recent starts, have held Scarlet Camellia back. Zac Purton took over from Derek Leung Ka-chun on the horse, a decision by owners looking for a change in fortune. 'I want to say thanks to Derek, he rode him well in the last two starts but just had no luck,' Shum said. 'I even promised the owners a sure win with Derek, but they wanted a change of luck.' Shum leaves for England on June 7 to complete Little Bridge's preparations ahead of the King's Stand Stakes on June 19.
