On supermarket chains dumping 29 tonnes of food waste a day:

Philip Ho - What a waste. The way these supermarket chains disposed of their leftover food is utterly shameful. They should have given it away to food banks in Hong Kong to those in need.

Kelvin Ng - What they don't sell they trash, because the less food available, the more the supermarket can charge the HK suckers.

Jessica Ng - I wonder about the quality of this food that is dumped. Is it still good for eating?

On Li Ka-shing spelling out his sons' future:

Patrick Shu Wing-lee - The richest man also has his worries. Money may not bring happiness. He should help the poor and weak more.

On the World Bank's gloomy forecast for China's economy:

Jessie Tong - Why is China asked to save the world and euro problems? The rest of the world is quick to condemn China on its other issues, eg, Tibet, human rights, ownership of certain islands.

Bob Howe - If China ever wants to be a first-world country it needs to step up to the plate and get involved in helping others ... this is the main reason that after thousands of years it is third world!
