With the return of tropical prints as a major catwalk trend and the popularity of the one-piece, we've seen some stylish beach offerings this season. We love the range from Jean Paul Gaultier and this halter-neck one-piece with a Chinese ink-painting print (far right; HK$3,180) is a fantastic investment for the summer. For those who want a more all-over tan, there's the triangle string bikini (right; HK$2,680) in the same print. Jean Paul Gaultier is in Lee Gardens, Causeway Bay, tel: 2907 2166.
Minimal, edgy jewellery is tickling our fancy this season. The teeth-like, zig-zag effect of Eddie Borgo's rings have put the label on the top of our wish list. We like the gold three-piece ring (left; HK$4,990) and the chunky silver version (above far left; HK$2,290). Eddie Borgo is available at Lane Crawford, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2118 3388.
We like Salvatore Ferragamo's strappy grey and silver wedge (right; HK$2,490) for its versatility and ease. More eye-catching, however, is the blue suede sandal with a wonderfully playful heel (far right; HK$15,900). Salvatore Ferragamo is in Pacific Place, tel: 2845 2718.
T by Alexander Wang, the American designer's diffusion line, is a younger, more affordable way of channelling Wang's famous New York cool. We like the yellow knitted jumper (HK$1,390) and miniskirt (both left; HK$1,290) for a quirky yet casual look. The simple blue knitted jumper (far left; HK$1,390) would be a fantastic addition to a summer wardrobe and will last through the seasons. T by Alexander Wang is available at Harvey Nichols, Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 3968 2668.
