Hit the bull's eye

We love the strong details and embroidery, as well as the feminine lace and largely monochrome colour scheme, of Moschino's matador-inspired spring-summer collection. For a easy summer outfit, there's the black-lace skirt (HK$8,600) and white blouse with black-lace panels (HK$12,100) worn with sexy golden strappy sandals (all right; HK$8,590). The matching monochrome cropped jacket (HK$12,900) with dress (both far right; HK$20,400) is more formal, structured and conservative. Our favourite outfit by far is the heavily embellished matador shirt (HK$5,150) paired with simple, slim black leggings (both centre; HK$6,550). Top the outfits with big earrings for an extra Spanish flavour. Moschino is in Lee Gardens, Causeway Bay, tel: 2907 2033.

Bags of style

Furla is the queen of structured handbags this season. We like the pitone latte handbag with python-effect panel (right; HK$3,995) as well as the easy blue Anice flap bag (below; also HK$3,995) if you are just toting around the essentials. Furla is in IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2234 7148.

Going Kookai

French fashion label Kookai has been off our radar for sometime, but this season, its affordable separates have proved to be spot on trend. The bold retro nautical print on a collared shirt (far left; HK$1,380) would work well with tailored slim trousers or jeans. For a simple chic summer dress, we rate the label's red and white sleeveless number (left; HK$1,980). Kookai is in Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2921 2082.
