Mother Miriam loses sleep as Torres makes his debut at Adventist
Canto-pop star Miriam Yeung Chin-wah and husband Real Ting Chi-ko have named their new baby after Ting's favourite footballer, Chelsea striker Fernando Torres. He had been nicknamed RMB (short for Real-Miriam-Baby and renminbi) until they could decide on a name.
Yeung and baby, born by Caesarean section at the Adventist Hospital on Tuesday last week, are now at home. The celebrity couple released photos of Torres on Sunday - as his namesake was warming up for Spain's Euro 2012 game against Italy.
The new mum said she had to breastfeed the baby every two hours, so didn't get much sleep in the maternity ward. She said she felt much better since returning home.
Yeung said her public relations executive husband had been taste-testing all the food their helper prepared for her. 'He finished half of my soup just now. Torres has a good appetite, like his dad, so I never have to worry about feeding him.'
Yeung, who is already planning a return to show business, said a second baby was not a priority right now. 'I'm just learning to be a mother. I will probably have to think about [having another] later.'
