German luxury leather brand MCM Haus celebrated the first anniversary of its presence in Hong Kong with a star-studded gala dinner at its flagship store in the Entertainment Building in Queen's Road Central.

The brand also introduced a range of its Tracey bags designed for the anniversary on Saturday evening. The bags - made with snakeskin and horsehair, and studded with colourful crystals and golden rivets - were inspired by city slickers' lifestyle.

Models and socialites in attendance included Qiqi Yam, Vanessa Yeung-Tsang, lyricist Wyman Wong Wai-man and Helen Rong.

The brand donated HK$750,000 to the Chi Heng Foundation, which works in Aids prevention among vulnerable groups and supports patients and affected children.

Former model Cathy Lee Chui Chi-kay, the foundation's goodwill ambassador, turned up to show her support. The mother of three talked about her children and plans for a summer getaway with the family.
