After being slammed in betting, Richard Gibson's Super Caga would have had supporters giving up on him, before rallying for a tough Class Three win. Super Caga firmed from double-figure odds into 7-2 late, but Tim Clark found himself passed by Deep Thinker within the last 200m. The seven-year-old didn't give in and scored by a head, the horse's fourth win for the term and Gibson's 35th in his first season. 'I thought Tim gave him a fantastic ride,' Gibson said. Clark admitted he thought the fast-finishing Deep Thinker 'had him' in the closing stages. 'But when he only got a neck on me, I knew I had a chance. This horse, as genuine as he is, he can wait for them a bit with the blinkers on,' he said.
