Raw two-year-old Bullish Friend put in a professional on-track display to become new Hong Kong International Sales director Mark Richard's first purchase to win a race. Bullish Friend is by first season sire Court Command out of Blue Diamond winner Lady Jakeo, who produced John Moore's former smart sprinter Able Choice. 'What I saw today is what I thought I'd saw at the sales,' Richards said of the griffin winner, who was knocked down for HK$4 million at the sale. 'He will be a much better horse in 12 months' time though, he is still a frame of a horse. He is big and he is backward, but he is well put together. He should be well-suited to the environment here, too,' he added.
