Perfect way to convey message

Customised rings are a perfect token and expression of love for any couple ready to tie the knot.

Every couple has a different love story and many of them choose to express that by personalising their wedding rings.

From the material and the finishing to the engraving, high-end jewellery brands are offering customised wedding-ring services for couples.

Regalo, the personalised wedding-ring collection from Japan, available exclusively at Chow Sang Sang, gives couples the freedom to design their wedding rings on four fronts - the shape and width, the material, the surface finishing, and the engraving.

Regalo offers five sizes of width and four different shapes, namely oval, round, flat quadrate and quadrantal, and made from precious materials, such as platinum, white gold, pink gold and yellow gold. Couples can choose from surface finishings, such as luchido (a mirror finish), orrizontale (a horizontal hairline finish), satinato (a matte finish) and verticale. They can also engrave their message of love on the ring's edge, stretching over the surface and the side. From production in Japan to arrival in Hong Kong, each order takes approximately two months.

Founded in Hong Kong in 1987, jeweller Ronald Abram's mission has been to use high-quality stones to make fine jewellery. The brand's customised wedding rings, Diamond Eternity Bands, allow couples to create made-to-order rings, reflecting their individuality.

Wellendorff lets customers put their personal stamp on their rings with a laser-engraved name in the inner ring. 'This is a symbol of love of the couple to each other,' says Benjamin Lange, general manager for Wellendorff in Asia. 'Each pair of wedding rings is entitled to a lifetime guarantee.' The German jewellery brand also has after-sales services, such as the resizing of the rings to make sure they are a good fit.
