MINA Kaye's letter in the South China Morning Post of December 9, is mean-spirited and smacks of racism.

With a name like Kaye, I can only conclude that she will also be labelled a foreigner when China takes over Hong Kong in 1997.

I therefore hope for her and for all our sakes, our new master will show a little more tolerance and acceptance of minorities than does Mina Kaye.
