Koonnang Tse, vice-president - business development, Pictet Asset Management

Based in Hong Kong, Tse will support Pictet Asset Management's (PAM) rapidly growing institutional asset-management business initiatives in Asia. He has close to 15 years of professional experience in the financial industry. Kong joined MassMutual Asia in 1999 and has over 25 years of sales and management experience in financial planning. In the past five years, he has been a recipient of both the International Management Award and the Frontline Leader Award for his outstanding management. Both awards were presented by General Agents and Managers Association International (GAMA International). In his new position, Kong will be focusing on business development and the expansion of his workforce.

Marc C. Brugger, managing director, Rosewood Beijing

Brugger has been appointed managing director of the Rosewood Beijing hotel, scheduled to open next year. The hotel will be Rosewood Hotels & Resorts' first in China. Brugger, a Swiss native, has 20 years' luxury-hotel experience. Most recently, he was general manager of Crown Towers Hotel & Casino Macau. He was also previously vice-president of VIP gaming services for City of Dreams Casino Macau and vice-president of hotel and F&B for Altira Hotel & Casino Macau. Before this, he was director of F&B for Four Seasons Hotel Dublin. He also spent nine years with Hyatt International, which included positions at Park Hyatt Goa and Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, and postings in Mexico and Malaysia. Brugger, who speaks five languages, recently received his executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
