For those seeking a natural-looking sunkissed glow, there's a range of great products available.

Guerlain's Terra Soleia (HK$540/27 grams) is a limited-edition bronzing powder for the face and decolletage. The extra-large compacts feature two shades - terracotta and iridescent gold. Swirl a large, round brush around the powder several times to mix the colours and gently sweep over face, neck and chest, avoiding the eyelids. Skin looks bright and bronze. Available at all Guerlain stores and counters.

Benefit Cabana Glama Kit (HK$360) includes Hoola bronzing powder, Posietint lip and cheek stain, Some Kind-a Gorgeous foundation and a three-colour eye shadow palette, with peach, bronze and cocoa shades in a shimmer finish. Apply foundation to face and follow by sweeping bronzing powder across cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. Dab a small amount of the cheek stain along cheekbones and lips. The foundation is a little thick for the Hong Kong summer, so use sparingly, or skip and just apply the bronzing powder. Available at all Benefit counters.

MAC's Hey, Sailor! Bronzing Powder in Soft Sand (HK$210/10 grams) is a matte bronzing powder for the face. Apply a small amount with a large brush to cheeks, forehead, nose, chin and jawline. Skin looks tanned and healthy, but can look slightly orange if too much is used. For best results apply in long, even sweeps. Available at MAC stores and counters.

Rodial Brazilian Tan Airbrush (HK$480/200ml) is a spray-on tanning mist. Although the colour is quite natural, it is difficult to apply evenly and can look patchy. It also tends to streak. Fortunately, the 'tan' washes off easily. For the best results, exfoliate and moisturise before use. Available at Joyce Beauty.
