It's Taboo: you ain't seen nothing like it

If Cirque du Soleil or The House of Dancing Water aren't sensual enough for your liking, how about ticking off some Taboo action at the City of Dreams' Club Cubic?

Franco Dragone, the Italian-Belgian theatre director behind Cirque du Soleil, has created an audacious show called Taboo for Macau's luxury night club.

The city's A-listers turned out in force last Wednesday for the premiere of the cabaret performance, including actress Rosamund Kwan Chi-lam, Shu Qi, Denise Ho Wan-sze, Daniel Wu Yin-cho and Andy Hui Chi-on.

The stars dressed in a palette of sharp colours and accessorised with feathers and corsets for the show, which promises to get 'naughty and naughtier'.

Guests were seduced by the scantily clad performers such as a blonde bombshell swallowing a 56cm steel sword and breathing fire.

Capoeira [Brazilian martial art] moves mixed with samba dancing are performed by whom the announcer said was 'a real African princess' known as Princess Rebel - 'the daughter of a leader of the Malimba tribe in Cameroon', who dances through the show in tribal dress.

Tables for two start from HK$2,000 and the show runs from Wednesday to Saturday, until September 15.
