Time for bookworms to unite and share their love of novels again.
This year marks the 23rd Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Book Fair. It will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 18 to 24.
With more than 530 exhibitors, the event will host a record number of participants.
The fair will display works by internationally renowned authors, such as Chetan Bhagat, whose book Five Point Someone was made into the Bollywood comedy Three Idiots.
The fair will also host many interesting public sessions. Jay Oatway, author of Mastering Story, Community & Influence, will conduct a public session on social media and how to master it.
Professor Leung Ping-kwan, the Book Fair's Author of the Year, will showcase some of his works and personal items, such as photos, videos, and poems.
The Renowned Writers Seminar Series will feature 17 famous authors, including popular mainland novelist Murong Xuecun (pen name: Hao Qun).
The fair's 14 pavilions will display different genres of books, including English Avenue, E-Learning Resources Zone, Spirituality Zone and Teens World.
The fair will be open to the public on the following days and times:
July 18-19: 10am-10pm
July 20-21: 10am-midnight
July 22-23: 10am-10pm
July 24: 9am-5pm
The entrance fee for adults is HK$25, which includes access to the Art Gallery. For children, it's HK$10.
