Boy awarded HK$450,000 to repair burn injuries

The High Court yesterday ordered Lam Shui-keung and Lee Siu-kuen to pay HK$450,004 to Puk Chung-yu for injuries caused five years ago when a red-hot screw fell into his pram in Sham Shui Po when he was eight months old. The money was for future medical procedures for Puk, who suffered five permanent cosmetic injuries from burns to his neck and back. Puk was represented in court by his father, Puk Chi-hin. The defendants did not attend.
