Inagiku Japanese restaurant at the Royal Garden Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui is serving a summer kaiseki dinner menu with sake pairing for HK$1,580 plus 10 per cent. The 10-course meal includes green pea jelly with prawn meat and sea urchin; simmered Shizuoka eel with eggplant; a teppanyaki course of Saga beef steak with seaweed salt and wasabi; and vinegared abalone with mangosteen. Yunyan Sichuan restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui is featuring crab dishes until the end of July. Guests can taste hot and sour soup with crab meat and soft poached egg; mud crab tossed with pickled chilli sauce and lime juice (right) served with angled luffa; Sichuan-style baked spicy mud crab on hot pebbles in stone casserole; chilled tofu with crab meat and roast shredded chilli with Sichuan pepper sauce, and deep-fried soft shell crab in Kagoshima Kurobuta pork belly with orange mayonnaise. Marriott Cafe at the JW Marriott in Admiralty has Alaskan king crab legs on the dinner buffet menu until July 29. The crab legs come with cocktail sauce, Marie Rose, tartare sauce and soya-wasabi dip. City Art Restaurant at the Royal Park Hotel in Sha Tin is featuring all-you-can-eat New Zealand ice blue abalone and Boston lobster until the end of July. The selection includes marinated Boston lobster and asparagus-beetroot salad with mango salsa and fettuccini pasta with blue abalone and asparagus in white truffle cream sauce (above right). The Sen-ryo Japanese restaurant chain is featuring black cod and premium sake. Guests can try black cod sashimi; black cod sushi with yuzu kosho; and black cod cooked in sauce. Sen-ryo has various locations throughout Hong Kong.
