Man of the moment Riccardo Tisci's dark, sensual designs for Givenchy come straight from the heart, writes Jing Zhang.
Despite her busy schedule filming Keanu Reeves' Man of Tai Chi and recovering from a car accident, singer-actress Karen Mok Man-wai stuck to her plan of meeting fans in Shenzhen at the weekend.
During her first public appearance on the mainland since launching a DVD of the Taipei leg of her Hui Wei concert tour, Mok mingled with fans and shared video excerpts. Some lucky fans won autographed DVDs and posters.
Mok told fans not to worry about the injury she suffered in the car accident. 'It's good that I've starred in a few action films. I reacted quickly and protected my body from being hit too hard,' she said.
To celebrate her 20th year in show business next year, Mok will embark on a concert tour. The award-winning singer also revealed that she will release a new studio album before the end of the year.
