Need to fix your hair on the go? LAB Concept has a solution. The walk-through store, developed by the Lane Crawford Joyce Group in Queensway Plaza, has been fitted with a wall of vending machines stocking lifestyle items such as Amika hair products.

The vending machines are among the features LAB Concept has developed to lure younger, hipper customers - who are unlikely to shop at the group's more upmarket Lane Crawford and Joyce boutiques.

On Wednesday, reporters and fashion bloggers were invited to tour the 64,000 sq ft space in Admiralty. Although LAB Concept opened in April, it recently unveiled a second phase featuring new stores and brands, including O-O Shop operated by Puyi Optical.

The group aims to highlight up-and-coming designer brands and diffusion lines of high-fashion labels at the space, including Thakoon Addition, T by Alexander Wang, McQ and MICHAEL by Michael Kors. Exclusive collaborations with contemporary designers such as Markus Lupfer will go on sale at LAB Concept in the upcoming autumn-winter season.

A Shoespace, featuring hip, young accessories brands is another feature of LAB Concept.
