Hiram To collaborates with his mother Helen Lai on two series: one of which sees the artist uncharacteristically taking on his family history and the process of understanding oneself through the earliest memories of his mother's Doris Day records and the character played by Judy Garland in A Star Is Born; the other of which presents photos of Ikebana-style floral arrangements created by Lai.
