Husband of robbed woman catches thief

The husband of a woman from whom a handbag and HK$5,000 was stolen at knifepoint in Lai Chi Kok yesterday chased the thief and caught him. Police said the robber had lain in wait in the women's toilet of a Mei Foo Sun Chuen restaurant.

Two arrested for kicking taxi, assaulting police

Two women, aged 30 and 32, were arrested in Wellington Street, Central, after kicking a taxi and assaulting two police officers early yesterday. The officers were treated at Queen Mary Hospital.
