Beauty in a blush: Shiseido offers 'speedy glamour' at launch of rouge make-up
Shiseido celebrated the launch of its Lacquer Rouge collection for the autumn-winter season with legendary make-up artist Dick Page at the W hotel.
Page has worked with the Japanese cosmetics producer since 1997 and was appointed artistic director in 2007. He is known internationally for creating unique runway looks for designers such as Narciso Rodriguez and Marc Jacobs, and for his work with celebrities and noted photographers.
Page introduced the new line alongside singer Josie Ho Chiu-yee on Friday. The 12 Lacquer Rouge shades combine lipstick and lip gloss into one holder for 'speedy glamour'. Inspired by Japanese lacquer artistry, the long-lasting gloss makes it effortless 'to get your face on in no time', Page says.
Shiseido set up gaming machines, photo booths and make-up counters for celebrity guests such as actress Candice Yu On-on and models Jocelyn Luko and Cara Grogan.
