Canto-pop king Eason Chan Yik-shun's eagerly anticipated album, ...3mm, won't be released until the end of next week, but his first music video from it has already gone viral on the internet. The film for the song Lok Card (Cantonese for 'swipe credit card') was first shown on HK television last week.

The singer channelled the 1980s in the video, dressed in a vibrant colour-blocking outfit that he has said was from his own wardrobe. He also invited the now-defunct musical duo Swing to guest-star in the video and dance to the funky '80s beats.

On the subject of going viral, Chan isn't the only member of the family making a noise in cyberspace this week. His wife, Hilary Tsui Ho-ying's, microblog has also been getting plenty of attention.

She posted photos of a Chinese tourist taking photos of her, Chan and their daughter Constance while they were celebrating Chan's birthday in a Vancouver restaurant, with the line: 'Impolite Chinese'.

Angry followers posted some 200,000 responses in two days.
