DKNY Be Delicious London (HK$520/50ml)
Claim: the signature green apple scent in the Be Delicious series gets remixed with blackcurrant, honeysuckle and English roses to celebrate the city of London.
Cartier Baiser Vole (HK$985/50ml)
Claim: Cartier's in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent concocted this pure floral fragrance, meaning 'stolen kiss', based on the lily and fresh green leaves.
Marc Jacobs Kumquat (HK$490/100ml)
Claim: a zesty, tropical fragrance evoking the kumquat tree with hints of jasmine, tiger orchids and cedarwood.
We like the hints of sweet jasmine against the citrus in Marc Jacobs' Kumquat, which has considerable staying power and develops into a musky wood scent. The London edition of DKNY Be Delicious is pleasant but a little too generic: it smells like nearly every other fruity fragrance. Baiser Vole is intensely floral and powdery with crisp base notes of green leaves. It's peaceful and calming, but the dry-down smells slightly soapy.
