Natasha Tang Wing-yung was stunned when she heard Eva Risztov of Hungary had won the 10km open-water swim in Hyde Park's Serpentine in just one hour, 57 minutes and 38.2 seconds yesterday. 'The Olympics is in a class of its own,' said the awed 19-year-old Diocesan Girls School student, who clocked 2:02:33 to finish the six-lap race in 20th place out of 25 swimmers. 'The winner of last year's Olympic test event clocked two hours, two minutes and 49 seconds. It shows how fierce the pace is in the Olympics. I tried to come close to the leading pack in the first four laps, but then lacked the stamina to hang in there. Overall, it was not a bad performance as I took almost two minutes off my test event result.'
