It's Play time - nightclub marks its birthday with hip hop and dance bash
Central nightclub Play pulled out all the stops for two days of celebrations to mark its first anniversary starting on Wednesday.
Guests at its stylish party, sponsored by Dom Perignon Rose, included club owner Xuan Mu, singer Adrienne Lau, model Mango Wong, and socialite and car collector Stephen Hung. Guests mingled with exotic dancers on the packed dance floor, moving to the techno beats of a resident DJ.
Last night's party kicked it up a notch with hip hop quartet Far East Movement, the first Asian-American group to hit No1 on Billboard's Hot 100 in the United States, with their single Like a G6. The group's mentality perfectly reflects that of Play's: 'At the end of the day, we're just normal dudes who love what we do ... to make music and to party.'
