Parents turn judges at sports meet
THE 13th athletic meet of Holm Glad College was held at the Kowloon Sports Ground recently.
As in previous years, a lot of students took part in the different events. Some also served as helpers in refereeing work.
Many new records were set at this year's meet, with Ai House emerging as the overall champions.
Parents who attended the championships were asked to give marks to the various cheering teams. The atmosphere was competitive but friendly.
The meet reached its climax when students from the four Houses competed in the 16 x 200 m relay. Guest-of-honour Dr Leung Chin-leung presented medals to the winners.
School supervisor Kenneth Leung Hung-kwong and school managers Stephen Lo Ka-lung and Reverend Torunn Ropstad officiated at the closing ceremony on the second day of the meet.
