OCEAN Park has added two super rides to its headland area to draw holiday crowds - the Ferris Wheel and the Eagle ride.

The Ferris Wheel stands 30 metres high and 120 metres above sea level, giving riders panoramic views of the sea.

With only 1.4 to 1.8 rotations per minute and with 18 cabins, each sitting six people, it is ideal for all ages from three to 60 years of age, says Martin Rheinfeld, the engineer from the Netherlands who helped to set up the colourful ride.

The Eagle ride, on the other hand, caters for the daring and energetic with its gravity-defying swirling and orbiting actions.

Ocean Park has invested HK$60 million in the three new attractions as part of its five-year expansion plan.
