Eastwood makes day for court
WHEN a bailiff arrived at Clint Eastwood's office to serve a subpoena ordering him to court it did not make his day.
The Dirty Harry star was so furious with the man bearing the bad news he had him handcuffed and interrogated for more than an hour, and threatened to have him arrested, according to a lawsuit.
Mark Ryan is suing the superstar over his alleged mistreatment last month. Now Eastwood, currently making the tear-jerker The Bridges Of Madison County, will face two days in court.
Ryan served a subpoena on Eastwood from his former girlfriend, Sondra Locke, requiring him to appear as a witness.
And now the star will have to answer the civil charges brought by Ryan.
A spokesman for Warner Bros, which is also being sued, said: 'I have no knowledge of the event.'
