ALASTAIR Goodlad, the British Foreign Minister responsible for Hong Kong, said he would not be meeting any Chinese officials during his three day visit to the territory.

On his arrival last night, Mr Goodlad said he was concerned about the backlog of work in the Joint Liaison Group and hoped its work could be speeded up. Mr Goodlad will meet Exco and Legco members tomorrow.
