NEW South Wales breeders have swung solidly behind the planned sale of 26 colts during International Races week in December and a top-quality buying session is confidently expected. Some of the most successful sires in the southern hemisphere - including several who also stand in Europe - will be represented.
Progeny from boom sire Danehill, Australia's excellent Marscay, Last Tycoon and the American-bred Bluebird will be on offer.
And with the quality available the Jockey Club expects to attract prospective buyers from Malaysia, Singapore and Macau and even Australia itself.
There is also a possibility that Japanese buyers may attend the sale.
