This colourful opinion leaps out from an otherwise sedate Sunday Times Magazine feature on the last vestiges of British colonialism in Hong Kong. The speaker is Gerry (or Gerard as the writer prefers) Forsgate, whose rugby origins shine through as he describes the British Government's approach to the territory.

That opinion aside, there's little new in the article which sees the likes of Anne Marden, Sir Jack Cater, 'Uncle' Ralph Pixton, Major-General Guy Watkins and David Gledhill wheeled out to describe the sunset that is Hong Kong. It's all rather sad, really.
