$3.78m theft from Peak

ANTIQUES, diamonds and cash amounting to about $3.78 million were stolen from the luxury home of an Indonesian businessman in Black's Link on the Peak.

The burglars broke into the master bedroom on the second floor after climbing up the building, without disturbing the four maids living on the premises. The businessman was overseas.

The stolen items included two antique bowls, an antique flower vase and some green diamonds. Also stolen was $300,000 in cash and US$10,000 (HK$77,270) in cash.
