Integrity, loyalty, trust and hard work have pushed the TVL Business Group to rise among Taiwan's top three freight forwarders in the past 30 years. Standing by these values, the company is scaling up its operations to become a complete logistics and supply chain management solutions provider.

"We want to step up to the next level by providing a more comprehensive portfolio to a global clientele," says chairman and CEO Kenneth Lee, whose vision stems from more than 40 years of expertise in the industry. "TVL helps customers reduce cost and ultimately increase their competitive advantages, combining efficiency, safety, on-time delivery, environmental protection and continuous investment in innovation."

Established in 1980, TVL developed into a multimodal transport provider offering full-scale services under shipping agency, operational management, air-freight and international logistics. Throughout the years, it has integrated sea-freight and inland transportation and built its presence globally.

TVL has branch offices throughout the mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the United States. It also partners with freight forwarders in more than 100 countries, enabling TVL to reach customers wherever they are. It plans to develop this network further through the TVL alliance, which can leverage partners' resources in developing businesses internationally.

Recognising the mainland as a major driver in its expansion, TVL established offices in most major sea ports in the region. It also invested in understanding the mainland's extensive railway infrastructure, which it believes will be crucial in connecting the market to key destinations such as Mongolia, Europe, Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Southeast Asia.

"We have seen our tremendous growth in Asian markets. This motivates us to expand more through our own offices and joint ventures," Lee says. "We are growing our business in deep and wide ways - infusing our know-how and experience in strengthening our foothold in Asia, and exploring the rest of the world through expanding our networks globally."
