Suspect 'injures witness'
POLICE are hunting a defendant in a wounding case who allegedly intimidated, injured and robbed a witness during a gambling session yesterday.
The accused, 23, met the witness, 26, during a pai kau game at a friend's Ma Tau Wai Road flat, Hunghom, at about 12.15 am.
The man allegedly asked the witness not to testify in court this month but the witness refused.
Police said he left the premises but returned an hour later with what appeared to be a pistol.
A similar demand had been made but was again turned down.
The suspect allegedly whipped the victim's head with the butt of the pistol and robbed the man of $2,000 in cash.
