I HAVE noticed a number of Filipino born-again Christians who are peddling their religion in Central every Sunday and on public holidays.

They are quite entitled to sing and preach at an appropriate venue, but their 'begging' for donations for their so-called 'born again' sects at every corner of Statue Square and its surrounding areas, seems very inappropriate.

Are there no legal controls to curb such behaviour? If it is wrong to hawk cheap cooked food without a permit, then it is surely wrong to be allowed to peddle your religion as these women are doing with their begging in Statue Square.
