GERMAN Christoph Langen made up for his disappointment at missing last year's Olympic Games when he successfully defended his world two-man bobsleigh title in Winterberg, Germany.

Langen, left out of the Lillehammer Olympics after failing to perform in the German trials, completed the four runs in an aggregate three minutes 46.91 seconds.
