Youth seems to be on popular Cherie Chung's side
Although former actress Cherie Chung Chor-hung is not yet ready to make a comeback on the big screen, she has lately been endorsing everything from luxury jewellery to funky fashion brands.
Now in her 50s, she puts her popularity among a wide spectrum of advertisers down to her youthful looks.
She was concerned, however, when she was asked to appear in a photo campaign and television commercial for beauty centre Reenex, which will be aired next month.
"The camera was focused on my face so I really had to be in the best shape," she said. "My face had to look perfect in reality to look good on TV."
It took the crew more than 10 hours in the studio to get the perfect shot, but she still dazzled in her Lanvin gown in front of the high-definition camera.
It might not be long before we see her on the screen again - maybe for longer than a minute.
