A MAN who was accidentally shown to a women's toilet at a fast food restaurant vented his anger by ripping off cistern chains, Eastern Court heard yesterday.

Chue Man-kwai, 57, lost his temper over the mistake at the Cafe de Coral in King's Road, North Point, and when he reached the men's toilet he pulled the chains off.

Magistrate Bryan Chau heard that the restaurant captain, Cheung Man-wai, 30, found Chue inside one of the cubicles with the chains of two toilet cisterns on the floor.

Chue was ordered to be bound over in the sum of $500 for one year and to pay $400 compensation after admitting causing criminal damage.
