Lavish vinegar feast tantalises tastebuds

AN eight-course banquet celebrated vinegar, with every dish sprayed, sprinkled, dressed and marinated in the stuff.


That was the feast set before the epicureans that are the Chaine des Rotisseurs, gathered in the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt, with Dr Georg-Heinrich Wiedemann on hand to explain his fascination with this ancient liquid.


Characters out of the Masked Ball provided further colour to a grand, and tasty, occasion.
