WE refer to a report which appeared in the South China Morning Post on February 25.

The Consulate General of Switzerland did not refuse Mr Han Dongfang a visa to enter Switzerland. Because of technical reasons (full passport as reported by your newspaper) a visa could physically not be issued. The exact procedure as to how Mr Han could apply has been explained clearly to him and over the phone to his organisation.

A single entry visa has been issued to Mr Han previously without any delay.
