NOL and Philippines firm in deal

NEPTUNE Orient Lines (NOL) has entered into a technical support agreement with Lorenzo Shipping Corp (LSC) of the Philippines.

LSC is one of the Philippines' major containerised cargo shipping companies operating on the domestic routes.

The agreement will let LSC tap into the vast technical resources of NOL.

NOL will help improve LSC's capabilities in the areas of information technology through state-of-the-art computer systems management, training technology and maintenance support.

NOL will provide LSC with the latest technological advances in ship operations, ship chartering, container port and technical operations.

Other fields to receive NOL assistance include vessel operations, bunkering, ship agencies, container depot operations, land transport and forwarding, warehousing storage and shipbuilding and repairs.
