WITH the advent of warmer weather, four Urban Council swimming pools have been re-opened.

They are the Victoria Park, Kennedy Town and Shamshuipo Park pools and the outdoor pool of Kowloon Park.

Seven other swimming pools will re-open by phases between mid-April and early May. Of these, the Kwun Tong, Morse Park and Pao Yue Kong pools will have been converted to use ozone sterilisation when they re-open.

The heated swimming pools at Kowloon Park and Morrison Hill, which remained open during winter, will be temporarily closed for annual maintenance from April 18 and May 1, respectively but will resume normal services before the summer.

The Lai Chi Kok Swimming Pool will provide uninterrupted service this year.
