BRILLIANT Centurion Trophy winner Viva Icta is almost certain to miss his eagerly awaited clash with Mr Vitality, Deauville and Hussar in Saturday's Sha Tin Vase, writes Lawrence Wadey. The English import, a devastating 61/4-length winner of the Centurion Trophy, would be meeting Chairman's Prize winner Mr Vitality on 26 pounds worse terms than in a handicap according to trainer Peter Ng who is very much against running on such unfavourable terms. 'Imagine what the handicapper will do to my horse should he beat Mr Vitality or finish a close second to him,' Ng said yesterday. 'Because of this he is 90 per cent certain to miss the race and go for the Piaget Gold Cup a fortnight later.' The Ivan Allan-trained Mr Vitality, Group One placed in Australia as a two-year-old before coming to Hong Kong, has won all three starts in the territory in the style of a future champion.
