Post pays third dividend

DIRECTORS of publishing group South China Morning Post (Holdings) have declared a third interim dividend of five cents a share for the year to June, the same level as in 1994.
The dividend, which will absorb $75 million, will be payable to the shareholders whose names appear on the register of members of the company on June 1.
The third interim dividend will be paid on June 8. The share register will be closed from May 30 to June 1, both dates inclusive. Shareholders should ensure transfers are lodged with the company's registrar, Central Registration Hong Kong, not later than 4 pm on May 29.
